Professor Kim Schroeder has been awarded the Knight's Cross of the Dannebrog
On 20 September 2013, Professor Kim Schroeder was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Dannebrog. Kim Schroeder has been employed at Roskilde University since 1989 and was appointed professor in July 1999.
The grounds for the award is Kim Schrøder's good and meritorious work as a professor at Roskilde University and is based, among other things, on his commendable contribution to Danish and international media research.
From the mid-1980s he focused on media users and was one of the first researchers to put reception research on the agenda in Denmark.
