The AV Centre in building 44.1 is a service unit for the entire university.

You can lend AV equipment by presenting your own valid RUC student or employee card.

The opening hours in the AV Centre is 9.00-12.30 and 15.00-15.30

AV Equipment

• Digital Voice recorders for PCs og Macs with USB ports for interview recording
• Digital HD video cameras with SD card
• Digital cameras, reflex and rangefinder cameras
• Projectors for PowerPoint presentations
• 46” TV / LCD screen for PCs or DVD / Video on roller tables 
• Edirol sound recorders (for sound productions)
• Overhead - and slide projectors
• Complete sound systems for conferences and RUC events

• Wireless microphones - speakers - audio mixers - amplifiers - CD and DVD players

The loaning period is agreed upon when lending - usually 14 days. Sound systems, data projectors and TVs are lent from day to day.

Note: The loaner is personally responsible and liable for the equipment on loan.

Loaning is free, but a fee is charged if the equipment is returned after the agreed-upon date.

The loaner is liable for defects not due to normal wear and tear, and for lost equipment.

The loaner will not be allowed to loan new equipment until the situation has been rectified.

AV Facilities with Fixed Equipment

The AV Centre have at its disposal 4 digital video- and 1 digital audio editing room. For that purpose there is a speaker box for recording speak. These facilities can be borrowed for project work and other things related to RUC.

The editing rooms are usually loaned for a period of 14 days and an introduction course is included.

The available editing programmes are Final Cut HD pro and Adobe Premiere Pro along with Pro Tools.

It is also possible to do digital compression - converting video recordings to other formats.

A photo- and video recording studie for Web/Podcasting with Video conference installed is also set up.

Portrait photography is done for all employees - book an appointment here (via single-sign-on) - NB: The system is in Danish.

The AV Technicians' Event Service

The AV technicians perform a number of different tasks in connection with the use of AV equipment at the university.

Operating- and maintenance tasks of AV equipment that is installed permanently in Large Auditorium 00, Small Auditorium 01, Cinema 41 and the auditoriums in 15, 17/18, 25.2, 45, 46 and the theory rooms in P8, 18.2, 25.1, 27.1, Geography Subject Hall 02, Old Nat 11.2.

Introducing the educators in using this equipment. There can also be provided technical aid in connection with dissertation defences, defending Ph.D.-theses and other RUC events.

We can also be of assistance with photography and video recordings at these events.
