Sharing folders on Akira
You can assign rights to other users to one of your folders on Akira, so they can read and/or edit documents in that folder.
Do the following to share your folders (you will need a Windows PC with a Novell client installed):
-Open This computer and your personal folder on Akira (drive O:).-Find the folder you wish to share with other users and click the right mouse button.-Select Properties and Netware Rights.
-Find and select the user you wish to give access rights to, and click Add. Normally the person can be found under his or her department. If this is not the case, the person can be found under Center, Users. This may take a while because the entire Novell tree has to be searched.
Enter which rights you want to assign to the user in the upper part of the window, and click Apply, when you have entered the rights:
R - Read (Right to read content of folder)
W - Write (Right to write)
E - Erase (Right to erase content)
C - Create (Right to create documents)
M - Modify (Right to modify documents)
F - File Scan (Right to scan files)A - Access Control (Right to change access control)
Click Apply.
Note: Do not assign access control right to other users. In this case you might loose your own rights to access your folder.
