Cultural planning and adventure is still an important factor for the development of society. We are talking about a transformation of a society where creative trades, culture and adventure plays a key role. Economically speaking, it can be concluded that the term “experience economy” is widely used in this transformation which hold a number of challenges compared to customary ideas of culture and of how companies innovate and create, organise and locate themselves, market themselves and are managed.

Tourist Guide Diploma Program

The Tourist Guide Diploma Program qualifies the students to solve communication and planning tasks for tourists visiting Denmark for vacation or commercial purposes. The education gives the students opportunity to

• acquire international cultural understanding and theoretical knowledge about Denmark for tourists, Danish history, art and culture and also Danish social conditions
• reflect on methods to be regularly updated
• gain intercultural expertise in oral communication and presentation technique
• use the latest techniques to develop and design tours in Denmark focused on specific groups interested in the Danish culture
