Integrated studies in Psychology and Educational Studies
There are three study elements available in English at Roskilde University for graduate-level students wishing to study within the fields of psychology and education. When combined, these enable the student to complete a 30 ECTS program aimed at exploring issues related to subjectivity and learning, and qualitative research methodology, in a broad context.
Psychology at RU is a theoretical and analytical program with the possibility of conducting empirical work as part of the RU-model of project-based learning. Research in psychology broadly falls under the heading of ‘social psychology of everyday life’. The aim of the courses is to introduce theoretical and methodological tools which enables the students to investigate everyday learning processes of individuals and communities in modern society (for example in the field of childhood, family life, ethnicity, gender, organizations, work, or technology).
