Events arranged by Nordisk nettverk for barnelivsforskning

We plan 6 network meetings with a duration of 2 days, taking place in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The 3rd ISCAR conference will take place in Rome.  

1. Meeting:

Period: 10th and 11th of February 2011 
Theme 1: Researching children’s everyday lives from a cultural-historical perspective
Theme 2:  
Form:
1) Discussion of central concepts in the main theme.
2) Planning for ISCAR conference and preparation of ISCAR pre-conference for PhD students
3) Working with the book publication: Researching Childrens Everyday Lives. The book is organised in three sections: The first section, which focuses on children's perspectives as part of conceptions about children's development. A second section that focuses on everyday life in families as cultural practice and a third section that focuses on children's perspectives in relation to professional support.

2. Meeting

Period: September 2011
Theme: Children's perspectives as part of conceptions about children's development
Form: a one day meeting for the network and a one day PhD course open to the conference participants as pre-conference at the ISCAR conference in September, Rome.

Theme: Creating a virtual PhD school program for research training in Researching Children’s Everyday Lives
Form: 2. day meeting planning the program for PhD
