The Research Council

The purpose of the research council at ISG is to facilitate and discuss relevant issues in order to support the research development at the Institute.

The terms of reference are as follows:

To contribute to the research strategy

To ensure greater funds

To support the researchers in publishing and developing their research

The council has to achieve these aims through facilitation and discussion of main issues with the purpose of advancing the research, which must also include focus on research across research groups. The council must also contribute to the researchers are informed about opportunities of applications, and furthermore contribute to constructive inputs through a good process with feedback in order to optimise the applications.

The council must continually discuss the framework conditions for the research, and furthermore contribute with suggestions on how supporting research initiatives can be improved.

The council consists of heads of research groups, head of the ph.d. school, a representative for the ph.d. students and a research coordinator.

Currently the council consists of Bent Greve (chairman), Bodil Folke Frederiksen, Hanne Warming, Jacob Torfing, Michael Friderich Kluth, Lisa Ann Richey, Laia Martinez and Rose Maja Friis.
