The Student counselling Service at Dept. of Society & Globalisation

Info by the Student Counselling

The student counselling for IDS and GS ischanging opening hours from may 15th to may 14th and may 18th to may 16th. I.e. the student counselling is open monday may 14th and wednesday may 16th from 9-14.

At universities in Denmark the student counselling service is organised on a "student to student" basis. The student counsellors are students themselves and have had further education that enables them to assist with the problems that students meet - some problems they have even tried themselves.

Some problems may relate to the more technical side of being a student and other may relate to social difficulties, or other problems affecting the study. In cases where the student counsellors can not help in solving the problem they can refer to other relevant services.

The student counsellors work under confidentiality.
