The Department of Society and Globalisation specializes in inter-disciplinary research and teaching in international development, public administration, social science, global studies and EU studies. The department has a lot of scientific contacts which creates interesting cross-disciplinary environment for both teaching and research.
The department has established a large number of national and international relations to other knowledge organisations, companies and NGOs. At the same time the department attaches importance to the societal relevance in the research and educations.
