This mini-seminar will provide information about practical issues and the main teaching duties that assistant professor supervisors have at RU. We will also discuss the most common issues and challenges facing assistant professor supervisors.

What are the assistant professor supervisor's tasks in relation to supervising the assistant professor? How often and in what way should they meet? What are the tasks in relation to the assistant professor's teaching? What is a teaching portfolio and how can assistant professor supervisors contribute to the assistant professor's development of their portfolio? Is it possible to include collegial supervision as a meeting between e.g. 2 assistant professors and two assistant professor supervisors, or could it be a theme exclusively between assistant professor supervisors?
