Chemistry is one of the smaller disciplines at Roskilde University.  The chemistry education shares buildings with Molecular Biology and Medical Biology in buildings 15, 16, 17, and 18.

The buildings contain group rooms, kitchens, coffee rooms,  laboratories, and technical support rooms.

Project groups and study groups are important parts of the social study environment in Chemistry.  Groups are not only together during normal working hours at the university, but many groups often also enjoy dinners together and work together during weekends improving study and social progress.

”Kemobaren (Chemo bar)” is an old tradition in Chemistry.  It is a social gathering Friday afternoons after class.
