What the students say about the combinations
Here you can read what the students think about studying Chemistry combined with another subject.
Johan Olsen Chemistry and molecular biology.
I have chosen this combination since biological systems and their perspectives are of great interest to me. However, I prefer the analytical approach to biology and in this respect chemistry allows me to apply the chemical approach to biological systems.
The two subjects are an obvious combination to choose since chemistry provides a solid theoretical foundation for biology. Biology presents to me an almost unlimited number of possibilities. In both my subjects I have found stimulating student groups where we can support each other in study groups and during project work. The most important experience drawn from my studies is that problems do not stop at boundaries between subjects. The most exciting research takes place at the boundaries between subjects and that is where I want to be.
Ronja Windfeld Chemistry and Environmental biology.
I chose my two subjects based on my personal preferences. The combination is working out fine.
My interest was stimulated during the basic studies. During the two years it was possible to develop my interests and make up my mind. My best experience during my masters studies have been to write a project where I discovered that I have made the right choice.
