Job possibilities
Most Masters from RU are employed in the private sector, but more and more jobs are created in the public sector as IT becomes a bigger part of our lives. In the public sector, masters are mostly employed as researchers and professors at universities or other education institutions, as well as administration and counseling jobs.
In the private sector, you can work with design, software development, maintaining existing systems and counseling. A growing field is IT security where you test and enhance security in existing systems.
Companies using masters in Computer Science cover everything from graphics, bioinformatics, banking/finance, medicine technology, defence systems, web technology, public administration, information management, IT security, insurance, production management and much more. Many start their own companies.
