Welcome to the Study Advisor at Computer Science and Informatics

The Study advisor is here to give new as well as old students help and guidance through their studies.

You can see the office hours above. Within the office hours you can contact me by phone, in person or via e-mail, and outside the office hours by mail.

Before you contact the study advisor you should check out our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), where you might find the answer for what you are seeking.

I normally take care of question regarding Computer Science, but I will of course try to help with you with other things as well. If I can’t help you I’ll try to direct you to someone else who can. Do you have questions of a more general nature (e.g. admission, study structure & programmes, choice of degree programmes, etc.), you can contact our International Office, who will help you. You’ll find their contact information here. We also have our Study & Careers Service who is the central study guidance center.

What can the Study advisor help you with?

• Give you help and guidance before your studies begins. For example about course options, projects and so on.
• Answer general questions about the different studies.
• Answer questions about a specific course.
• Help you planning your semester
• And in general help you with questions about your studies.

The study advisor have confidentiality, and it will of course be possible to direct an anonymous request.
