Geography
The combination Geography and Environmental Biology is exciting for students interested in fields of study with mutual interfaces for both subjects. Mutual interfaces could e.g. be within landscape ecology, a subject which has a long tradition at Geography where a current research about development and planning of the open land takes place. Also within groundwater ecology there are mutual interests between geographers and environmental biologists as many water environments are closely connected to the subsurface. Finally there are an increasingly cooperation between Geography and Environmental Biology about development of habitat models. This combination aims especially at a career within public and private environmental management.
