EU-Studies belongs to Department of Society and Globalisation (ISG). The programme has approximately 120 enrolled students. The Department is situated in several modern buildings close to the library. The Department has an international touch both among the staff and the students. The programme of EU-Studies is handled by the teachers from the 'Globalisation and Europeanisation' research group, which secures the link between the teaching and the research.

The social environment at EU-Studies is characterized by a wish for contributing to the integration of the international and the Danish students. A party committee has responsibilty for arranging culinary theme evenings with food from the homelands of the students, parties at RUC and common excurtion to music and dancing venues in Copenhagen. 

The group work in relation to the exercises and writing the projects has a socialising function and results in social interaction across the entire study programme.
