Students at International Development Studies have the possibility of replacing some activities for one semester with an Internship. 

Through the Internship you will get acquainted with the job market and test your qualifications in relation to the job function matching the type of job you are expected being able to fulfill when you finish your Master degree.

As a student at International Development Studies, you have the opportunity of doing fieldwork abroad in relation to the project work.

It would be a good way to gain knowledge of the developing countries and get insight into the developing problems they work with. It would give you a more realistic view of the developing processes rather than getting it from reading some literature. It would be a good way to experience how to collect primer empirical data for a project and how to process the primer data.
