RUC - unique study programmes
The study programmes at Roskilde University are completely unique. At RUC, you are not required to commit yourself to a specific course from the outset. You choose between four different main areas, giving you two years to decide what courses you want to specialise in. You then design your own study programme by combining the two courses that will constitute the best possible elements supporting your academic interests and your future career plans.
Throughout your study period, you will also be part of a student community where students collaborate in project teams. Teachers will guide you in your work, in respect of academics as wells as methodology.
You will achieve a strong academic profile, strengthened by the special skills acquired from studying at RUC. You will learn how to:
- work across disciplines and to think ‘out of the box’;
- apply scientific methods to solve the problems of the surrounding world;
- independently define and solve problems;
- manage projects and enter into collaborations.
