Interdisciplinary Studies in Health Promotion and Health Strategies combines various perspectives of the understanding of Health and starts by defining the term in a wide sense, i.e. the dynamic understanding of Health where body, mind and environment are connected. By health means the interaction between the individual, biological inheritance, life style, living conditions and the contribution from the environmental and health service.

The programme is a multidisciplinary programme supported by research from three trade groups: From Science and Technology, Psychology and Educational research and allocate in this way from two Departments.

Interdisciplinary Studies in Health Promotion and Health Strategies accept students from all 4 mail areas.
