TekSam can be combined with many different programmes at RU
At ENSPAC the following combinations can be mentioned:
TekSam – Geography
This combination make it possible for the students to focus on the environmental problems in connection with space and resources. Here you can study society and nature conditions for industrial development, eco-tourism and, city and landscape planning. Typically you will be hired to make physical planning, development within tourism, water planning, resource extraction, regulation of nature resources, agricultural planning or eco-farming, international environmental aid, city planning, transport planning and urban ecology within the state, region or council.
TekSam – Environmental Biology
Within the public sector, people with a solid scientific understanding of administration and the political decision-making processes are often needed. This combination is mostly aimed at environmental biologists who focus on a career within public environmental administration, and/or aimed at TekSam scientists who wish to create a stronger scientific foundation. The combination is also well suited for employment within consulting companies.
TekSam – Planning Studies
This combination makes it possible for you to focus on the sustainable city. Here you can incorporate within public involvement and empowerment and design of planning processes with expertise within assessment of environmental and sustainable initiatives. The combination will lead to positions within the councils, regions, stat and other public authorities, private consultants, NGO’s (none-governmental organisations) and research and educational institutions.
TekSam – Health Promotion
Are you interested in studying the environment and health, this combination is unique. You will be able to achieve qualifications to initiate and coordinate interdisciplinary health promoting environmental achievements, e.g. about social discrepancy in health, xenobiotics childrens exposure to chemicals, the indoor climate etc. You will subsequently be met with such tasks in future employment within trade associations, committees, councils and private companies.
TekSam – Working Life Studies
Working Life Studies at RU was once part of TekSam. Working environment points out why TekSam with its focus on technology and technological innovation gives resonate for the study of changes in the working life. The compelling sustainability problems of our time cannot be solved without the involvement of those who work and develop new ways to produce and consume.
