Students from Scandinavia and from EU member states (incl. Switzerland) do not usually need a work permit for a student job.

Students from all other countries will normally have a work permit as it normally is a part of the residence permit. Some embassies cannot issue a work permit though. In those cases you have to apply for the work permit after your arrival in Denmark.
