Global Dynamics Lecture Series

Global Dynamics organises a cross-cluster Global Dynamics lecture series that brings estimated international scholars within the thematic fields of Global Dynamics to Roskilde University.
There will be at least two lectures per semester – or six lectures in 2013 and 2014.

The lectures start Spring 2013 and will be organised by Thomas Boje (boje(at)ruc.dk) and Laurids S. Lauridsen (lsl(at)ruc.dk).

Global Dynamics Conferences

We plan to have three Global Dynamics Conferences in 2013 and 2014:

• International conference on “Global Secularism: Concepts and implications” (October 2013, This conference will be co-financed with the research group ‘Secular Ideology in the Middle East (SIME)’
• International Conference on “Sustainability and the Celebrity-Business-Development Nexus” (October 2013. This Conference will be co-funded by - and take place - at CBS)
• International Conference on “Externally Constructing and Contesting Regional International Society” (May 2014)

Global Dynamics Seminars and Workshops

Global Dynamics arranges a number of seminars and workshops starting from Spring 2013. From Autumn 2013 five thematic PhD courses will be organised in cooperation with the Doctoral School of Society and Globalisation (DSSG), the Doctoral School of Culture, Language and Philosophy (DSCLP) and The Doctoral School of Communication, Business and Information Technologies (DSCBI).
During Spring 2013 the first guest researcher visits will take place.
