A main focus for the research in this cluster will be analysing whom these new social actors and social movements are, what they want, and where and how they operate through media and the political system. The new social actors are informal and sporadic organised. They seem to have got a tremendous influence through the new media, new type of network collaborations, and creative ways of approaching established system and mobilising the broader public.
