Who are the participants in Power, Media and Communication?
A small group of researchers from Communication and Journalism at the Department of Communication, Business and Information Technologies are attached to the Centre of Power, Media and Communication.
This Power, Media and Communication research focus area also constitutes a research environment for other researchers from the Department of Communication, Business and Information Technologies and from other RUC departments, including PhD students and thesis students. The focus area organises seminars on theory and method and makes available common sets of data to all those with a research-related interest in contributing to media power analysis.
The overview below illustrates the multi-dimensional understanding of media power through the connection between three interrelated dimensions of media power: production (produktion), contents (indhold) and use (brug) of media representations.
The Power, Media and Communication researchers work across the three dimensions.
