SLUSE is an educational program aiming to strengthen existing Master level educational activities at University of Copenhagen and Roskilde University (RU), within sustainable land use and natural resource management in developing countries.

Networks and collaborations

Roskilde University (RU) is part of a number of networks and collaborations within developing research.

"Building Stronger Universities in Developing Countries” is a partnership between research and higher education institutions in developing countries and Danish universities. The activities are divided into four platforms. They are Human Health, Growth and Employment, Climate and Environment, and Stability, Democracy and Rights. RU participates in all four platforms.

Africa Studies Europe (AEGIS) is a research network of European studies centres which aims to create synergies between experts and institutions. Find out more: http://www.aegis-eu.org/

The Indian Ocean as a visionary area. The aim of the Indian Ocean network project is to develop collaboration between researchers in Denmark, India and South Africa – as well as Nordic and European colleagues – engaged in studies of transnationalism and cultural exchanges around the Indian Ocean. Danida Research Portal - the Portal to research projects supported by Danida - An online portal, which provides access to information on research projects funded by Danida. The portal includes projects supported through The Consultative Committee for Development Research (FFU), including pilot research projects, as well as support to centres, networks, platforms, and support to international research.
