Roskilde University (RU) is part of a number of networks and collaborations within developing research.
Building Stronger Universities
"Building Stronger Universities in Developing Countries” is a partnership between research and higher education institutions in developing countries and Danish universities. The activities are divided into four platforms. The four platforms are

- Climate and Environment, (external link)
- Stability, Democracy and Rights (external link)

Forum for Africa Research
Forum for Africa Research is based at RU and is an open network for everybody interested in development research focusing on Africa.
Africa Studies Europe (AEGIS)
AEGIS is a research network of European studies centres which aims to create synergies between experts and institutions.

The Indian Ocean Network
The Indian Ocean as a visionary area. The aim of the Indian Ocean network project is to develop collaboration between researchers in Denmark, India and South Africa – as well as Nordic and European colleagues – engaged in studies of transnationalism and cultural exchanges around the Indian Ocean.
