Coordinators and planning group
The Danish coordinators for the Indian Ocean network project are Bodil Folke Frederiksen and Preben Kaarsholm, Roskilde University, with Preben Kaarsholm as the responsible coordinator vis-à-vis the Danish Research Council for the Humanities.
International coordinators are Isabel Hofmeyr and Pamila Gupta, University of the Witwatersrand, and Tejaswini Niranjana and Rochelle Pinto, Centre for the Study of Culture and Society in Bangalore, together with Lakshmi Subramaniam of Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi.
