The natural sciences are crucial for understanding the real world, society development and a basis for technology, innovation and production. The societal demand for qualified candidates in natural science are very high both in Denmark and internationally. Nearly all candidates with two subjects in the natural sciences find relevant jobs in private companies, in research or in the education system immediately after finishing their studies.         

Interdisciplinarity is about crossing traditional disciplinary boundaries and creating different scientific traditions of working together in untraditional ways. These dominant features at Roskilde University gives you an opportunity to combine many different specialized academic studies within and across disciplines. Most full degree students choose to combine two subjects, which provide an insight and qualifications within the two disciplines, giving them a unique interdisciplinary knowledge. 

You are free to choose the two subjects your bachelor's degree should comprise. At RUC, it is possible to earn a two-subject bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Mathematics, Molecular Biology, Computer Science, Physics, Environmental Biology, Geography and Technological and Socio-Economic Planning and many more not listed here. You may combine your undergraduate programme in the Natural Sciences to adapt it to your personal strengths and interests.
