FabLab RUC is a fablab, rapid prototyping laboratory and digital production workshops, run by HUMTEKs technology gurus in building 4. We handle materials ranging from wood, plastics, metal, cloth, electronics, programming and computer controlled manufacturing. We pride ourselves on being able to build a prototype of any technological system.

We are opening our facilities (previously reserved for technical students) for all students and employees at Roskilde University and interested citizens from November 1st. 2013. Further information on practicalities and opening hours will be announced here.

We are seeking new employees. You should love digital production and want to be part of a team who can build anything technological. You should be an expert in at least two areas - but we do not mind if it is electronics, programming, 3D modelling, sewing, CNC machining or something else! See what we are looking for (in danish). Machines & facilities

We are interested in all forms of modern digital production and have a wide range of machines available:

• Laser cutters (2)
• 3D printers (2)
• Large format CNC mills for light materials such as plywood (3-4)
• CNC mill for precise manufacturing in hard materials, with 8 tool toolchanger
• Electronics workshop, including production of printed circuit boards
• Sewing workshop
• Wood workshop
• Metal workshop, including lathe, welding etc.
