Certification Crash Course: Teaching in English as an international language
Course description
The purpose of this crash course of two half-day sessions is to introduce the university lecturer to the basics of the Roskilde University certification of teaching in English as an international language. The language functions of the certification will be presented in some detail and the course participants will be given an opportunity to practice the functions that are most unfamiliar to the individual lecturer. If the lecturer also teaches (in English) through the running of the course, they have the opportunity to practice in their classroom too and bring back their experience and queries to share with their fellow course participants.
